Anointing the Everyday

There is something holy about the way we care for our bodies — when we’re not rushing, not distracted, not disconnected. Just present. Skin to skin. Breath to breath.

I think we’ve forgotten the sacredness of the everyday. Of water, soap, touch. These things aren’t tasks — they’re invitations.

When I take time to wash my hands slowly, to feel the lather, the temperature, the texture — I remember that I’m here. That this moment is mine. That my body is worthy of reverence, not just function.

Anointing isn’t just for rituals. It’s for mornings. For tired afternoons. For when we’ve been carrying too much, or feel like we’ve disappeared from ourselves.

This is how we come back.

Not through grand gestures, but small, intentional ones.

This is how we ReWylde — through presence.
